  • me again.. one year later!!! sorry.. am i missing something about thunderbird, or has his message been edited.... ok, so thinderbird is a bit unappreciative to the amateur, everyone has room for improvement.. but don't forget those old foes.. i can never forget them.... NERVES.... i have a concert in 4 months times and i've been crapping myselft for 6 months!!! LOL.... but back to my point...... i don't see any asian or any other racist remarks in his coments??? am i missing something...

  • @MsFlutey , yes must have been edited by him. There was some comment about inability to interpret music because of my skin colour. Some people...

  • First of all Thunderbirrd, you sound extremely racist with your asian european comment. Secondly he obviously IS an amateur duh. Did you actually watch the video and notice thier age? Thier just kids. Its probably done by a school somewhere. I applaud them for a good job, this is definately a learning experience for them and they will get better.

If you want to critique at a professional level, go grade professionals not children.

  • I loved it...I play the oboe as a 13 year old and I would consider myself pretty good.

Not this good though...actually I think this song sounds so cool I was planning on playing it for Solo and Ensemble next year. Thunderbirrd, the oboe is not a very widely played instrument (comparatively) and you shouldn't be puttin down people who are awesome enough to play it

  • I am a musician that plays mainly baroque music. I have heard your complete performance and found it to be very beautiful. I like to move when I perform too, don't stop. Thank you for sharing.

  • wow!!!! You are incredible! I'm learning this piece right now for my audition for Interlochen and thought I'd hear how it sounds once it's ready for performance, lets just say I have a long ways to go before it sounds that good. Fantastic job, you are a wonderful oboe player!

  • @timlaimusician cheeky git!!! some people are just pathetic... keep up the good work... bet you are better than him and that what sticks in his claw.... lol...

  • @timlaimusician cheeky git!!!

  • in response to guardian 1984 ,from one year ago.... ok, i've only just come on here!!!

i have two types of music for this and other pieces, one downloaded and one shop bought.... there are differences in the two, flats in one not in the other...etc..... so, it depends on the editorial of the music.. don't blame the musician!!!! espec. if everyone in the orchestra and soloist is doing the same thing.. it's obvoius that it is printed...... doooooooooooooh

  • a bit too slow?
