This really is lovely. She has such nice line, speed and edge-work. Her jumps will be no problem with more practice. I foresee great things!

It is a disappointment for her, but this is a programme with huge potential.
She is so elegant. And what a gorgeous costume and music - these things matter!
She also came back in the long, which a lot of skaters couldn't manage after a bad short.
I fully expect her to be on the podium at the Olympics. You go girl!!

I knew she's been having trouble with her jumps this season, but she's capable of doing much better than this! But I think her performance was more appealing than Fumies'. Fumie didn't make any big mistakes, but Joannie was much more energetic and expressive. Btw, I'm Japanese! All skaters who challenges new contents and more complicated programs, don't do good in the beginning of seasons. I'm sure she'll be more stable later on. Hope she does better in her FP and not break down like Mao did.
