Not sure I follow you. I can assure you that our Juma Reserve rain forest initiative is being run through a foundation that is not controlled by the government. It is operating near the village of Boa Fuente where we have built a school. This is progress.

Considering that 1. Every tree produces more carbon than it takes in and 2. Marriott will produce more carbon in it's carbon-offset activities than occurs now leaves one conclusion: more carbon produced on Earth- because some people will not admit to the production of carbon by trees. Corrupt Amazonas officials will not admit to that fact because they are receiving money from Marriott. Bribing is bribing no matter where or who does it. Marriott personel involved should be in jail.
