Hot Rats sessions, eh? YEAH Ian Underwood on piano! That dude (the straight member of the group) could bust out in a jam session as well as he could do all of FZ's crazy difficult "classical" piano pieces. WOWIE ZOWIE

Yes, most of you are correct, this is one of the pieces from the never released 2nd Hot Rats LP sessions from early 1970. Amongst the other gems from the sessions were: Twinkle Tits, Chunga's Revenge, Transylvania Boogie, Bognor Regis, The Clap, and the backing tracks for Friendly Little Finger (Zoot Allures) and Let Me Take You To The Beach (Studio Tan).

A wohle lot of Mr. Zappas Albums regardless of the names have different tracks, (his of course) that totally change the tone my the album, My 'Them or us' from the 90s would be different from you schools from the 70s. I love em all, sooner or later he busts out the sickness in like every song!

@meangene408: We are different generations off Zappa listener I think. I mean, my fist FZ album was Overnight sensation, and Roxy & Elsewhere, I mostly never listen to Zappa after ”Sheik Yerbouti” (with exception), and that album is kind of included in ”not listen to”. But of course I have them all. And I hate ”Them or us ”, I really really dislike it. I guess that your first contact with Zappa is after the “1979” line? (record release year, not if you are young or old.)

I smoked a joint with Sugarcane Harris backstage in Houston in 1978

This must be the Hot Rats Band, and Don Sugarcane Harris in sparkling form, vocally and with his violin. I recognised a few of his favourite licks from Hot Rats and Burnt Weeny Sandwich.
