AUAN: Statement of Helen Prior to EU Petitions Committee 14th April 2011

The home of Helen and Len Prior in Vera, Andalucia was demolished in 2008 as a result of a planning dispute between the regional government (Junta de Andalucia) and Vera Town council.

Mr and Mrs Prior are seeking compensation for the loss of their home through the courts system and currently live in their converted garage.

You are as much guilty and corrupter as the Council mayors and local developers.

AUAN is representing the interests of people that committed a fraud.

You went to an small village in a poor area and with your money corrupted the local authorities. That idea that you didn’t understand the LINGO, or the laws, that idea that you didn’t translated the property papers to your own language to know what you were signing, is just one of the best jokes I ever have listen.

Of course they have monetary interests its their life savings and pensions invested in a corrupt system. They spent over 350000 euros in the local economy as have many hundreds of other europeans. The Junta turned a blind eye to the developments only to renage when pressure came in from the Spanish Government to clean up their acts. Where were the government checking on illegal builds whilst all this foreign money was being spent. The Priors were made scapegoats by a corrupt offical now sacked.

I don’t care what AUAN said, they have monetary interests involved. AUAN is just an organization to support this fraudulent interests, they are not to support THE TRUE.

For any person with sense it is obvious that the land is RURAL LAND, as the property papers said .The secret is that they know that if there is not any complain about an illegal building for 5 years the government can not demolish the illegal building. It was a beg .That’s the TRUE.Stop lies, we all Know the obvious TRUE.

@Fortunainperator..you cannot be for real. Even if your statement is a joke it is in bad taste and beggars belief. Her house was built with full permission in writing from the planners in the council and the Junta which has the power in the area. The Junta gave permission to 3000 homes in the area. The guy who signed the demolition order has been sacked. These people are victims of corruption and incompetence of officials. The governement washes their hands of it. Read AUAN website.

Look how nervous she is knowing that she is representing the interests of British robbers that don’t respect the law and build illegally and destroy the environment….. If they don’t have enough money to live properly and to buy a legal property they shouldn’t go to Spain ….. What a shame she is feeling ….. Disgusting and nasty.
