I really like this movie. I recently just bought the book The GIrl Next Door which is similar to this movie. I now just want to see the movie to it. Has anyone seen it? Any good? I watched the trailer and it seemed good.

@MackyzBack The Girl next door 2007 ( It's on netflix watch instantly )was based on the same thing, and it might be a little better than this one. ( Haven't watched this yet ) They don't show the torture as much ( Thankfully ) most of it is implied. They show the poor girl trying to survive, and if just breaks your heart. I cried, a lot.

the germans have sufferd just as much as anyone under the hitler regime, merely the nazis got away quite mildly.
besides, america has a pretty nasty history too. yet, i dont go around judging people for their countries past.
thats a really foolish thing to do and it does make you look quite bad...

I watched this movie and i cried to think that one little girl out there with a bright future was so cruelly tortured and killed. This movie however downplays the real pain. I looked it up and MUCH more happened to her. She had her private parts burnt and the family took turns sticking something up her and they wanted to see what went farthest. It was a sad game, lost in pieces.
At least she is in her heaven, riding with the plastic horses and beautiful twinkling lights of the carnival.
