  • Hey man could you post some more demos of the Q-tuner pickup demonstrating different style of playing and with effects?

  • not right now, i've got the guitar in bits and pieces working out some wiring issues.

  • I LOVE the tone of this pickup, but, in my opinion, it's VERY quiet. I have the High Z, not the medium or super high. So on clean it's really quiet, but very articulate. Doesn't sound great with my favourite Overdrive Pedal, but sounds FANTASTIC through a distortion pedal. I can post some more demos if you like? Sorry, I'd go more indepth but I'm short on time.

  • Aluminum Neck FTW!

  • Hey man... still have the guitar? How's it working out for you? I've been trying to contact Greg Bailey about an aluminum neck but I'm not sure I have the right email address... Do you still have his email?

  • please do. Also, where did you get that aluminum neck?

  • did you tune it or is it just straight out of the box? I think they leave the EQ on the Q-tuner pretty flat and you have to tune it to taste. If it's flat EQ then with an overdrive pedal your just going to boost a flat a limp guitar pickup. I've got a super high Z, I just haven't gotten around to putting it in my guitar yet. That metal neck looks pretty sweet.

  • Hey man, nice guitar.

I was wondering which q-tuners do you have put in on that guitar? Do you like the tone they give you out of you jag, cuz im gonna get a SE Jag HH in a few months and I'm definitely changing the pickups. i was thinking P-rails for a variety of tones, but then I saw these and so I became curious.
