Focoist911.... You need to refine it with a finishing foam pad like a Sonus red pad and a finishing polish like Menzerna Final Finish (PO 106 FA).

This guy said nothing nothing about the types of pads or polish to use to deal with different paint problems.

A wool pad like the one he is using is only necessary on deep swirls and harder paints.

Using a wool pad on paint with light defects is only going to unnecessarily remove clearcoat or paint.

if the defect are light start with a foam pad like a Sonus white pad and a lighter polish like Sonus SFX-2.

It all depends on the type of pad and polish/compound combo you used.

Always work out what the least aggressive pad and polish combination required for the task in hand. To do this, start with a light aggressive polish on a light cutting pad. If that doesn't work move up to more aggressive combo of pad and polish.

I always polish at an angle and never had a problem!! and if your doing this kind of work buy a variable speed.

A good detailer can start the buffer and run it over the compound without it splattering. Angle the buffer on end so that it sucks the polish into the pad.

A sheet, wtf, that's a good thing to get caught in the buffer and screw shit up. Use masking tape and paper. Variable speed is the way to go. Just pop the windshield squirters out and you won't have to worry about it, they pop out super easy. Take off antennaes, etc. You always want the wheel rotating OFF the edge of a panel and NOT into the edge so you don't burn the edge or take off the paint. Who the fuck is this guy?
