I never thought I'd say this about a Zelda game, but I effing hate skyward sword. I wait over a month after its release. I couldn't wait, and what did I get? A moat likely awesome game which I cannot okay because I can't find myeffing wii motion plus anywhere! I don't care anymore. Fuck you skyward sword, and fuck you wii motion plus.

@GamerInari Haha, a similar thing happened with Majora's Mask years ago: I didn't have an expansion pack for my N64 at the time, so had to wait to play it!

Loved the intro; seriously, well done.

I loved the sword fighting. It's not "realistic" or "immersive" but it has it's own game-y-ness that goes well with all the other Zelda puzzles. Magic, that game, and with a genuine twinkle in its eye.

@MrLeighSD Yeah, once I got used to the sword fighting, I loved it. I still think the fighting in Ocarina of Time etc. is the best example of sword fighting in a game though: No stupid combos or anything, just good fun.

Nice review... I think I'll go get Skyward sword for my brother and his wife who have a Wii and need a good excuse to use it for Christmas. And since they don't play videogames THAT much shouldn't be too hard to borrow it from him indefinitely later. The gift that keeps on giving to ME.

(And anytime you have 3 selections on what to tell a woman, no matter what you pick is wrong.)
