Typhoon Melor from Okinawa

Super Typhoon Melor as it roars past Okinawa (hopefully). I say this because as I am uploading this, it is only a few hours since that last clip was shot and it's only gotten more intense.

***Update****
The worst of the storm happened between the hours of 11-3 a.m. when it was much too dark to get video (however - note taken that next time I can film from indoors to get the sounds from inside). We didn't undergo a direct hit, thankfully. As you can tell from this video, however, being on the edge of these powerful storms is frightening enough.

May re-edit this to get the proper format. Having trouble with some videos loading in wrong aspect ratio.

Hmmm...

It's now 16:00 here near Yokohama but the wind and rain is still weak.

Seems the worst will come tomorrow morning on my way to work.

Nooo, I want to take a day off tomorrow....

Stay safe! The worst of it blew by Okinawa between the hours of about 10 p.m. - 3 a.m. on Tuesday. I wish it had been daylight during the time the full force was passing by because I would have had some GREAT video...waves were crashing over the lower wall. I tried getting video, but it was too dark :-(

I live on lester and the waves got reallll bad after dark i know what you mean i tried to get video but it was to dark and we hurried home in case it just kept going straight. Im glad it went by.:)
