@NeoDoRant It's only difficult to to if you don't know you have to wait 'till Lara swings back. I did it with success and I'm now out of the damm Damocles room (thanks God!).

This game is pretty hard, but that's the only Tomb Raider game I could finish with Legend and Underworld. Underworld wasn't that hard just freakin full of bugs. The earlier games are simpy way to hard for me.

fiddlebender88 said exactly what I was thinking. This area is a lot of trial and error, and undocumented 'features' like this just make it even more frustrating.
I'm just glad that there are folks like you uploading walkthrough videos, otherwise I'd be totally flummoxed.

Also, the game never tells you how to execute this kind of a jump, not even in Croft Manor.

It isn't. I tried also long time, you have to wait a little bit, then, when you begin to swing back, you have to jump. Should work.

its easy, just swing, and then wait till lara swings back a little, then press jump, and there you go ! =)
