@thewoolendiva I have had my Garter Carriage for many years but just to busy to learn - until about 2 weeks ago. I took a deep breath - put my fears aside and started using what I was blessed to acquire. What a totally wonderful machine. Goes much slower than the power drive but it is worth every cent I paid for it. Love the pattern Hearts & Stars. Tried to go on Knitwords to find it but didn't know where to look. Could you please post it here or direct me where to go? Thanks for the videos.

I love these 2 videos, I spent the whole day yesterday knitting a very fine lace thanks to you. I am making a baby blanket today. I think I am addicted.

I was given a Brother machine and no instructions. There is no information I can find on the internet but watching your videos now means I now know what I'm up against. Its clear, concise and simple to understand. Thank you.

Hello, just watched your two videos. Brilliant. I'm watching a brother KH 850 on eBay. Is the machine similar to the one you were using. It comes with a garter carriage and intarsia carriage. Thanks Anita uk

@shanesbird123 Gosh, I'm not sure, but I believe the KH840 and 860 are punchcard machines - you can use a GC with them, but my pattern shown in the video is an electronic pattern. The KR850 is a ribber - I'm just not sure what you are seeing. If you reply with the auction #, I'll be glad to have a look at it for you?

What does a machine like this cost?

It depends. You are looking at 2 machines here - the mainbed and the garter carriage. Each is several hundred dollars.
