@holliebabee90 that's good advice, but another good tip is to combine ethel merman and tyne daly, then mix a little jewish mom into the mixture. make it loud and you've got the perfect mae peterson! :D

we're doing this for our school district's summerstock production. I've been watching these videos for an hour. i've seen no accent, almost english accent, bronx accent, and some sort of undecipherable accent. Any ideas?

Ham it up! She's supposed to be "THAT" Mom. Seriously. Just make everything larger than life. I loved this part. Probably my fave to date.
