When Mohsin Ali gained admission to American University's School of International Service for a Masters degree, he quickly realized that he needed a job. On campus, preferably, since he wanted to stay in contact with the student community on campus. The School of International Service did not have an opening, so Mohsin decided to give another department a phone call. He believes he got the job at the American University's Washington College of Law because he proactively pursued the job opportunity.

Hard work is the 'secret' here. And Mohsin says that exploring all available options is the key to success.
