  • Recurves > scythians > longbows > flatbows > compounds.

  • I have to watch all of these been thinking about getting a bow. Thanks for the information.

  • I also want to start off shooting finger release so i can master that first, but friends who bow hunt are telling me to just start off with a wrist caliper release and D Loop.... I tried their set ups and dont particularly like it.. If i do get a release i was thinking it would be better to learn with a Stanlawoski back tension release so i dont learn to anticipate the release.... They tell me those are not good "Hunting" releases... yet cant tell me exactly why they believe that?..

  • Great video, hit many of the questions im having about shooting a compound instinctive.... One question, Where is the rest of this ?... Im a newby to archery, but ive been shooting rifles and handguns for over 20 years now... I recently scored a screaming deal on lightly used Oneida Black Eagle and im wondering if i will hamper my ability to learn instinctive shooting if you start out using pin sights and peep...

  • Awesome video. I have shot my compound bow for years with sights and recently started shooting it without pins and a peep sight. I love the better field of view you get with that stuff removed. It takes practice to be sufficient with it but doesn't everything. Keep on making these instinctive videos because they are a great help.

  • do you have to anchor? i just got into archery and the cabellas guy helping me set up my pse thought i would be back to get sight put in my bow afetr i told him i want to shoot fingers, haha, he was wrong
