As it says in the title. Note that I didn't try to make the patches sound like eachother. I just started from scratch on every amp model and dialed in a sound. So the difference between the clips can be quite big but you get the picture.
All sounds are direct from the unit. Nothing added afterwards

i have a pod hd desktop and i need to use my headphones alot. But i think the sound changes alot when i use my phones. why? :(

People who don't like these obviously don't have children therefore don't have a need to record direct so as not to wake children/wife by miking a live amp.

I'll be honest, I don't like either... The line 6 is uber digital and the fractal is... Well I dunno. I've never like amp modeling.

POD HD 500 all the way! I wouldnt waist my time with the smaller units, 300-400. The 500 has way more options, programming, and can run more effects at a time. Always thought digital effects were crap and clung to my Mesa (beautiful tubes) and pedal board. After getting the HD 500 I only use that and plug straight into the house system xlr and use the mesa for stage noise via the effects loop return. O YA!

@SASPython Well actually, you did. I could rephrase it, but theres obviously no point with you. Theres no doubt which unit sounds better, and I couldn't have made that any clearer the first time. So thanks for restating what I've already said. Truthfully, you lack the credibility to say which is better considering you still own the Gx. I have used both and own one. I never stated your dislike of Line 6. READ!

@laaaaambofgod buy an POD HD500... Fractal sound MUCH BETTER but it cost ten times more... and it doesnt sound ten times better ;)
