The 2015 Lotus Elise will have DCT installed and that's when I will finally be able to drive an Elise. I freaking hate conventional manual transmissions.

@canadianfisherman11 Yes!

@WeAreWFO Wow indeed!!
-
can u drive it just like an automatic without having to shift anything if you want to?
-
you guys walk and talk like your professional race car drivers but i will tell you that if you buy this car with a DCT than you just ruin the point in having an M3. Any real, self respecting race car driver will choose the manual any day because they know that real cars like this are about the experience rather than getting from point A to point B.
Why spend $4,000 to have the car shift for you? i like BMW but if you want the M badge buy a DCT but if you want a real M3, get it with a stick....

where is the sound?!?!?!?

It's great that BMW has implemented a dual clutch transmission but they did not build the M-DCT, Getrag did. BMW is an engine company.

@SimpsonvilleRecords try turning it off whille ur driving lol

if i get a m3 do i have to buy this thing or is it on new models or something... cuz im kinda confused right now
but this time it's installed in a car with v8 high-rev engine with 420 bhp, up to 8,400 rpm, and 400 Nm of torque at 3,900 rpm. the new bmw m3 convertible. no crappy golf or lame audi tt... end of story. ;-)
