YUNG YiDiSH is a non-profit in Israel dedicated to Yiddish culture. YUNG YiDiSH created the first Yiddish Summer Course in Tel Aviv, in cooperation with Tel Aviv University and Beth Shalom Aleikhem. YUNG YiDiSH was responsible for the production and for the one-month cultural program in the afternoon and evenings.

    Golda Meir was a Zionist ad she was very disappointed when Hebrew was chosen as the official first language instead of Yiddish. Not all Zionists tried to destroy it.
