@cckid81 USAF created Fighter school because losses/attrician were unacceptable. There was alot learned from Vietnam war. Communist had piles of downed aircraft, a treasure box for Russian/Chinesse intelligence who must used it design there aircraft. Goodnews there top NVA Ace with 17 kills Mig 21 was himself blown out sky in dogfight with a F-4. Vietnam was hell of war.

I don't know why everyone keeps making videos of high speed low passes. This is the only video I know of, that shows low passes close to maximum CL. Great flying...When were these shots taken btw, I'm pretty sure they would kick your ass in nowadays Air Force.

U.S. F-4 and F-105 losses in air to air combat were around 67 to 73 for the entire war. You don't have to make my word for it. My sources = ...And Kill Migs by Lou Drendel and The Air Force in the Vietnam War by John T. Correll. Simply asserting something doesn't make it true, even if you are British. Which is what we are supposed to infer by your use of "yank". Right?

@kidd912thomas lmao, seriously dude, check "Operation Rolling Thunder" and see how yanks lost over 1000 planes, of whom mostly F4's and thunderchiefs, to MIG 21. Vietnamise pilots, trained by Russians, also had more aces then yanks...
