@Chetah01 I from the Philippines but living in USA first I thougth Philippines was nothing to offer but when I went vacation there are places in Philippines that is modern... Of course there are slum places in the middle of modern place... it is like having cake with fish mix together... What I meant you drive in good neigborhood then suddely a slumm then a good neiborhood again... if you say we are poor maybe but we are modern too.... Our country have a lot of malls and 2 are largest in world

@Chetah01 I didn't dispute the fact that Manila has slums and poor people. Read my original comment... I even said that in there. What I am astounded by is your assertion that "the way to judge" is by comparing to totally different economies. Yeah, the Philippines has its poor parts, but we Filipinos aren't notorious for drug dealings/drug wars. Try again.

Mexico is better than Philippines 1000 times. I always travel so i can see it with my eyes not only searching pictures or watching on youtube only.
The truth is that Manila is poorer than Mexico and many people are poor.
