Emma Donovan is an Indigenous Australian singer and songwriter. She is a member of the renowned Australian musical family, the Donovan family. She started her singing career at age seven with her uncle's band, The Donovans, was a founding member of Stiff Gins and currently performs with The Black Arm Band.Donavan's debut solo album is called Changes. She was nominated for an award at The Deadlys in 2005 and was the subject of an SBS TV documentary Emma Donovan: Gumbainggir Lady.
Singaot Sista is a tribute to female creativity, cultural diversity, beauty and endurance, accompanied by a unique collection of musicians from PNG & Queensland, the kings of Melanesian funk, Tribe of Jubal led by Ben Hakalitz (Yothu Yindi).
