Going abroad just isn't for everyone, no matter how much colby makes it out like something everyone will love.

oops "sophomore" year... If you want to decide where to go to college ignore everything else but get all the course catalogs for any school you are considering. Then pick the one that has the most courses that you think you'd like to take- never mind your major field - just that you'd like to take because you'd like to know about them . That will ensure that you don't get academically frustrated. If its a tie , then pick something based on the location you want more.

I too learned that Colby was not for me - It's beautiful and all, but there isn't much to do on the weekends but drink and have sex. BEER DIE is the the main campus activity (a game played with very cheap beer and a single dice on an 8 foot table that is sort of like a team sport version of "quarters.") I ended up transferring out by the middle of my sophmore year to go to Emerson in Boston

Is that even possible? I mean I was searching colby all weekend, and it just sounded more and more impressive. Please clarify me what was so bad about colby experience, I would appreciate your help

... I didn't like the time I spent at Colby. Don't go abroad freshman year. It is a horrible idea.
