@Mr42 it works in real games too. When you have tank/marine vs ling/baneling. The zerg will attack move and select all the banelings and run after the marines, so if you run behind the tanks which you should, there will only be banelings. I know this because I am a zerg player and everyday I play against my cousin who is a high master Terran.
@Fuice1 Patrol split actually IS out of combat. It works in combat in some micro trainer maps, but in a real scenario there will be speedlings and the whole thing will backfire. (assuming you meant patrolling away from the banes)
