  • how many 0.5 liter tanks does this engine needs for break in

  • @soverato3 in reality, OS says that no break in is required and the engine can be set into the model directly. For safety reasons and security I burned a lit and a half on bench.

  • HI, sorry for the delay in answering.

You'd better run at least 3 tanks before flying. 2,6% semi synthetic oil mixture. Then decrease oil%age to 2% synthetic. Fly three tanks mid gas, don't over load it... then only, you can use it to full power... don't trust what OS says into the manual. MUST break in first.

  • hi, sorry for the delay in answering.

At least 4. 2,6 % semi synthetic oil mixture then you can come down to 2% synthetic, all before flying. Then fly another 3 tanks without loading it too much. You'd better burn almost 5 liters before considering break in over. DON'T trust what OS says into the manual, use a normal break in process...

  • prop?

  • 22x10 or 23x8 on the model

  • aha , the old mousse can trick

  • @tisoy909 Very good, so you are also doing a warbird as well. I am also, I plan to install this motor into the new esm 50cc Spitfire when it arrives. That is why i was asking you about prop pitch, i am looking for a motor that can spin something 22 inches or even 23. Looks like a good new motor in time for a good new plane then.

  • @YANNICK441228 Yah that seems very true from what i see from your video and others. it looks very responsive. It looks like a big glow engine too. But the rpm numbers ive noticed cannot lie. What was the RPM that you were getting?

  • @tisoy909 So far so good, under installation in a giant P47D Topflite kit. On bench test, the engine reacts the way a glow would do. It's really cool...

  • @YANNICK441228 Thank you, must be good power then?
