This is the process I use when detailing all clients cars. I start with a car wash, then clay, then polish using Pro-Polish, then seal using JetSeal 109, then wax with Petes 53'. I used a porter cable 7424 in this particular detail.

  • Forgot to dress the wheel wells @ 8:22 ???????? Looks great though .......

  • @smczack1 Nope it's on there. I don't like a false shine, I prefer the natural color of the tire instead. So after I applied the dressing, I rubbed it in with a microfiber towel to remove the shine but preserve the darker color.

  • I know this is an old video but I was wondering if the polish used is the pro-polish 3n, or the p40 polish, thanks, great job man

  • Good Job.... Parabéns pelo belo resultado....

  • Sunlight revealed a patch of hellacious swirl marks you missed on the rear quarter left side. Shame shame. Kidding. Black is no joke. Swirls and scratches live for black paint and are always out there waiting to make their presence known. Black is whack but when properly done commands a presence like no other. It requires great effort to keep the paintwork popping. Get it wrong and your shit just looks like every other scratched and swirled car on the road. Black is a labor of love. well done

  • Polish should be applied before a sealant. They are totally different product. The polish is best applied to untreated paintwork to slowly remove layers of paint which then removes the scratches. The sealant then is applied and has to cure to the paint. Jetseal and zaino z2 with zfx are the best. These need a while to cure/bond to the paint. If applied with polish at same time, it will not work. Very nice car. Did u not polish ur exhaust?

  • how often should i polish my car? i put a new wax on every 3 months. Do you think hand polish is effective (i know its not as effective as polisher)?

  • @atownmack tape is often used to protect the plastic and rubber trim from the polishing and waxing chemicals, which can often discolor or leave a residue that you have to go back and clean off in order to get a professional look. It's the classic "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" situation.

  • Awesome work !

  • Good job on the car alott off time and effort went in to get that shine good work man.

  • Great job!! hey man, chemical guys p40 can be used as a finishing polish?? I mean, the last step in a corrective process.

    THX!!

  • extremely nice! what polish do you use...is it a 1 component (all in one) polish for cut and finish in one thing? i like the fan you use when buffing of the wax at the end of the video :D...like people who detail cars with such meticulousness!
