@gwaithwyr Lol! Kinda does. But awesome stuff.

This looks like Flash Gordon's space ship on wheels. Wonderful.
-
Would this motorcar originally have been a diesel?

Thanks for making and posting this video! I hope someday to model one of these in N scale. And kudos to the museum for a beautiful restoration job!

History , rides again. Good job nevada rail museum. Pat yourself on the back.

@emdB67 Yes, It is good to see at least one is still around. It had to take at lot of love and hard work to get back to running order, and in good nick.
-
@Ken69a Queensland Railways also had McKeens - all scrapped. But then again, almost all the ones that ran in the US were scrapped too - So it's fantastic to see this rare survivor restored and running.

@emdB67 Sad thing is, our lot, (Vic Rail). Srcapped them.

Great to see the McKeen running. Gives me something of an idea how it must have looked when two of them ran here in VIctoria, Australia.

So the McKeen Motor Car runs on a different guage track from the others. How old is it?
modemeyes 1 year ago
@modemeyes: #22 is standard gauge, and is 100 years old. This day happened to be its Centennial. McKeens were made between 1905-1917, and there were some narrow gauge ones.
