Sorry only HBCU's look Better doing this .

takes the hat* off
Yes, but the MMB drum major just has to bow his legs inward a little bit more to lower his head far enough. The two backbends require an equal amount of flexibility.

OSU's band is olllllllld school. I'm a Spartan, and I don't even think we're better than they are.

that's weak Michigan takes the plume off

@MWolverine9 Well, you put a question out there and it was answered. Matter of fact, three of my alma mater's former DM's marched with no hat and did full backbends with no hat. But you're entitled to claim Michigan's DM is best. Your opinion is your opinion.

@MrGilliardMusic so what? who cares what the black colleges do?
@MWolverine9 The spartan marching band rehearses with no hat. But many many times i've seen Cody Martin's calfs touch the grass, making it a failed back bend, while showing off the no hat skill. As someone who loves band, i will admit that MSU, UM, and OSU have the best bands in the big ten, but UM does not come close to competing with MSU or OSU. And most OSU fans will even go as far to say MSUs band is better than theirs. That takes a lot out of a buckeye to admit defeat in any area.
