Christian Bale in Rescue Dawn -This is Weird!!!

Looks to me like Christian Bale used his experience from shooting Empire of the Sun in 1987 to help him make his performance in this scene more authentic. What do you think?

When watching that scene in Rescue Dawn, I thought of the same thing! I wonder if Bale was reminiscing about his experience in Empire of the Sun while filming this. The flashback would have fitted very well in Rescue Dawn, just the way you cut it together! :)

That 's brilliant :D I absolutely love the two movies, and though I had realized they in some ways remind of each other, I had actually never realized just how well these two scenes fits together.. it's just a really briliant video, really funny, sweet and ... weird :) thanks for sharing it!
