@blite13 So basically make sure they cut their meat in the store, if not its just pre-packaged and pre-cut shit, which is definitely not as good as fresh stuff. And yeah I agree that animals killed in slaughter houses aren't as good as "nature killed" one, but the only difference is the stress that it gets. That will result in meat being a little less tender, but thats it. Stick with the AAA meat and I can assure you, theres not much better quality wise than that.

@blite13 Yeah if you buy your meat at places like Walmart, then theres some preservatives in there. I work as a butcher in an IGA and I can assure you that theres practically nothing added. We get veals as they are ( except for the head ) and cut them accordingly. All the meat we buy is freshly killed, as they are, without any manipulation made to them ( almost any). The only ones that you should watch out is minced meat. Part of it is frozen shit for Australia, god knows whats in there.

@Jaremus Killing for food is not wrong. People who hunt for meals should not be condemned, people who hunt for trophy, yeah, they can take a flying leap. If you are going to kill it, grill it and leave nothing behind unless you want to help feed other species. Otherwise, killing for fun is wrong. But, having the CHOICE of killing my own, compared to being force fed garbage at a grocery store = no contest. I will kill for my own well being.

@blite13 Agreed with everything. All of it. I'm sure 'wild' meat is 10x healthier.

I'm sure that if all people start seeing killing for fun as something wrong, then the slaughterhouses will be eventually gone as well.

@Jaremus You know what sick is? Eating freakin meat that is full of growth hormones, that have lived in cubicals just to live to be sold at a 'grocery store'. Have you seen the way they slaughter the animals you eat from the grocery store? It's really sick, much more barbaric than killing your own food. I guess if you don't see the conditions and the way they are killed, it doesn't matter?The wild meat is so much more healthy than store meat. It isn't full of chemicals used to make it unnatural.
