Two quite nice folk tunes. The first is well-known in the Appalachian mountains, though is likely of Scottish origin, and the second one is English and unusual in that it's in 5/4 time, which is not often seen in western folk music. Both songs were collected from Cecil Sharp, who called Searching for Lambs "a very perfect example of a folk song". It's usually played more "prettily" and less intensely than here. These are adaptations of arrangements I learned from Lori Keddell. Folkcraft walnut/cedar dulcimer tuned 1-5-7. (D-A-C).
