i totally agree rob - i thought it was only my kit that was cast thin, but it must be an error in the horizon casting process!..glad to see you built up a base - i did the same but added water and tree stumps..excellent work.
I've built this one myself Rob, Great review of a great kit, but boy were those hands thin! I filled the hands and feet with Plaster of Paris to reinforce the thinner parts and give it some heft in the legs so he would stand better.
I love your paint job, there's so much detail to highlight, I haven't finished mine yet, but you have given me a few ideas. :-)
what did you use to get that scale pattern what brush do you use how did you get the eyes that detail looks really hard.
