great video.....small question........why didn't you just REBUILD the one you pulled??
you drove that in to park right? what made you get the donor engine as a replacement versus rebuilding?

It was cheaper and easier to do a swap over than to rebuild the old engine. a rebuilt head was over $1200 alone, the whole long block I bought was $1200 in total.
I still have the old short block and will fit a rebuilt, shaved and ported head eventually.

love ur vids insteresting how the alternator has a exaust tube thats wat it is isnt it? to derect heat away?

the duct on the alternator is for cooling air coming in through the front bumper, directly into the windings and out the alt casing.
