"90% of the guns used"
WRONG.
90% of the guns TRACED are traced back to the US. Get the statistics right.

Marijuana isn't a gateway drug. You can't get addicted to it

Legalize freedom. That means freedom to inhale anything you wish into your own body and freedom to shoot anything you wish out of your own gun.

Well, you're 99% right, of course. This stuff is elementary to all but the most thoroughly brainwashed among us(but I'm still glad you've spoken out).
As to the reason the president wants to steal peoples' firearms, the insanity in Mexico is merely a pretext. Do let us be plain: He is trying to undermine the constitution and construct a tyrannical dictatorship. For that, we must be disarmed.

Legalize marijuana.Theyres no such thing as a gateway drug,if the person can think & act on their own they onely have theyre self to blame, not the drug.

To elaborate on the American guns thing, the way i hear it is that 90% of a SAMPLE of these guns were of US origin, and this %age can easily be manufactured since US-made guns can be readily identified before someone traces them. Also, i've never read that they explicitly came from the US market; they could be from the Mexican military, or from military aid that was intended for anti-communists in South America. American guns are everywhere already and to restrict you and me won't change this.

Thanks to marijuana prohibition we now have thousands of little Al Capones on the streets fighting turf wars and killing innocent people.
It should be obvious to anyone with a brain that drug and alcohol prohibition does not and will never work.

Lets see, the largest majority of American arms found in Mexico were.........wait for it.............M16A1's, sold to them by none other than Mr. President Bill Clinton. yeah, you don't hear that little fact spewing from Hillary's mouth now do you. And remember, only 6% of the arms confiscated in Mexico were even American.
Those weapons aren't even available to the public.
But I agree Josh, just about anything would be more productive than banning firearms.

I know you don't really care about what I have to say, but i'm just putting the facts out there, like how she used poison gas to kill wolf pups at their dens, she claims to be pro life but that clearly isn't the case, and before you accuse me of being in league with PETA, I am not in any way... They are just as bad, I don't even want to get started on them...
Lies, the only reason palin is doing this is so the trophy hunters can have another caribou head on their wall

@Jophie12 Ya you're right makes sense. That's the motive. You need to be a homicide detective. Definitely missed your calling.

"Assault Weapons" by definition are military grade machine guns. These are fairly well regulated already. Many of the weapons being used in Mexico come from corrupt police, smuggled in from Central america where the US government has shipped tons of weapons for various causes, and even shipped in from China and smaller unstable nations. Americans apparently need these guns to protect thmselves from violent criminals. Otherwise America will end up as dangerous as Mexico.

Great comment. Had I known about us guns coming from central america I would've surely mentioned it. Thanks for the input.
