@BigManlyMan4 Custom made hand warmers, made from codura nylon and insulated. I would love to have a set, but I can't sew that good.

sounds like a lot of work. ahaha. How did they hold up? how often did you need to change them? Also. Do you have any rear tires that are spiked that you dont use anymore that I could buy off you?
-
We used to drill each knob from the outside, then from the inside, screw pan head sheet metal screws just long enough so the tip of the screw stuck out of the knob about 1/2 inch. Then, of course, you need a liner on the inside also.
Now we just have professionally made carbide tipped studded knobies.
Some of my buddies use ice racing studs (basically, glorified hex head sheet metal screws) screwed into the knobs from the outside, as many as you can get into each knob.

will sheet metal screw work well?

They are all different, some are ice racing studs others are carbide tipped spikes some are metal screws from the inside out!

What are you using for tires?

@twistedkeys1
They're custom made hand warmers. Check out Granite Gear they might even be making them now. I got a pair for my KTM from Thundersports, a local shop in Superior, WI, they were meant for an ATV but they work great!
