I just use the default layout. Lucario's grabrange is so bad I'm rarely using it unless it's shieldgrabbing an improperly spaced aerial anyways lol. Although I've heard a fair number of people swear by setting the Y button to grabs, so you might consider trying that too.

Lol, please help out a fellow lucario player. For a long time i used just the wii mote on its side for brawl, and for a long time it worked well, but then i realized that i was constantly making mistakes while trying to grab. I decided to start using the gamecube controller again but i cant get a good layout. Whats yours? Im just trying to find a comfortable layout so i can start grabbing.

Lol, usmash would be better if it didn't have so much lag after. But you played pretty good, I mean handling a wario on battlefield is rough.

I'd say you'd be right considering how much I suffered for it haha.
To be honest, most of those were accidental. Dunno why I kept screwing up.
