  • With City Motor (or other rebuild shops) you want to tell them that its for marine use and ensure they put an RV/Marine cam in. Boats and RVs require low RPM, high torque cam profiles. You will also want brass freeze plugs installed. Aside from those things a marine long block and automotive long block are very similar. The difference is sparkproof accessories (starter, alternator, etc) because fuel vapor can settle in the engine bilge and explode.

  • you sound satisfied with it haha

  • very nice engine

  • very nice engine, just got a 350hp v8 for 300 bucks, ahh wondering what size bolts you used for the mount and also what kinda of starter?
