I just heard about Opie and Anthony today, and will most likely forget them in about five minutes. They don't seem that different from alot of the morning zoo broadcasters that get replaced every month with some format change or whatever.
The envy is understandable though, alot of radio personalities hate Howard, probably because he's the only succesful person who's ever made it in radio and is currently signed on to a prime time network.

@brabon1 Facts Kill..& You just stated them.

I really don't get why people rate Howard Stern so much! Part of the reason why I hate people!

O&A > Howard.

Nobody seems to understand that through the words these guys spew towards Howard also comes a deep respect, Radio is Radio and Howard is the top of the game, I love Opie and Anthony, I'd listen to them over Howie any day but you all can't say Howard is innocent as much as you'd like to think. Bad Blood through stupidity. As one person said on another clip that if these two shows joined forces it would be global win for both.

In your opinion, you think O&A is better, especially now that Howard is "past his prime". But the fact is... Who has the more popular show? If Howard is past his prime and O&A still isn't up to his level, than what does that tell you? It's like arguing that Michael Jackson sucks compared to Prince. But who has a more successful career? Michael or Prince? IYO, O&A is funnier. But who influenced who?

I honestly tried to listen to these guys the other day, it was just boring conversation.

@MrReplier Go ahead and die with him
They've never denied he was an influence on them. They've just said he's been past his prime for a long while now.

stern was funny, absolutely. that said, he's become a parody of everything he used to hate and rally against. the humor (artie) has left the show and all that he's left with are famous guests who do his show. opie and anthony have their flaws (anthony's never-ending racism, irritatingly closed-minded debates on politics) but they have some of the funniest comics besides norton on air on a regular basis (colin quinn, louis ck, joe rogan, bill burr, bob kelly, jim jefferies)...so i listen to O&A.
