This is a video that we made of all the Jeep JK Wrangler's that joined us on our recent Project-JK Summer Sierra Trek 2007 Trail Runs. The first half of the video covers our morning run up the Sand Canyon and Wheeler Ridge trails which are located just south of Mammoth Lakes near Tom's Place. The second half covers our sunset run up to the beautiful Laurel Lake which is just outside of Mammoth Lakes. Of the JK's that came, all were Unlimited's, two of which were White Rubicon's (wayoflife/TrailBud), one was a Jeep Green Sahara (doojer) and the last was a Flame Red X model (JeepCacher).

I have a 2 wheel drive 2006 toyota tacoma with mickey thompson mtz's. You can do some mud and that kind of stuff as long as its a puddle and you can get onto dry land shortly after the thick stuff you should be fine. Hills are the worst thing though. I've gotten stuck once on a hill and have recently found out how easy it is to get stuck on a hill with 2wd. 4wd is where it is at though, you would be amazed in the difference..

haha sorry but why would you buy a two wheel drive? Thats no fun! ALWAYS GO 4x4 and live life!

Agreed, if you're asking what you can do off-road, 2WD was a mistake. :(

down to the dealer to trade it in for a 4WD!!!! THEN you can start building up a nice Jeep like these...

I have a wrangler unlimited X with two wheel drive. Exactly how much off roading can I do?

you can drive on just about any fire road or basic dirt trail but i wouldn't try to do much more than that if you are alone.
