Im muaythai. Im just curious, no offence but y do SHOTOKAN karatekas adopt a side stance, when eventually a brawl calls for 1 to square off for a barrage? God gave us 4 limbs & 8 weapons 2 strike with; wouldn't putting half of it behind ur body leave u half as good? Im not saying dis karateka aint pro, but economy of movement-wise, it could've been less tiring than 2 bob back & forth on d toes, right?

@86HairMetal is the only guy on shotokan that has this freak style...and that uses many drills... if you watch others videos with shotokan fights...man! it sucks!! I practice Kudo Daido Juku, and have the same ideia of yours...but I have to say that this guy...is the best in his sport! OSU

elwyn hall, was one of the elite fighters around at the time.english karate never had it so good ,roberts,brennan , best ,christopher, but to name a few.No one could live with these guys,so people that are saying, this style or that style is best ,its a load of crap .these fighters could do any style and still be the best.there is no one around even today that could give these guys a go..Thank god these guys were around at the time,karate would not be the same today

80% of all karate expert end there fights with ashi barai,like this if uve actually used ashi barai while sparring!:)

@86HairMetal umm ,u use one shoulder cus,its easir to dodge attacks since only one side id facin the opponent, but when we attack we use the the two sides in order to put all the weight of the upper body and convert it into a strike!
