She was having issues transitioning between notes.
Her actual high notes sounded well here.
"and I" sounded pretty clear and after that the use of head voice/vibrato back and forth didn't work out for her.

how sad
the greatest punishment must be to have had a fantastic voice and then having lost it
Msut have hurt her more than anyone else

OMG!!I feel so sorry for her, maybe she had laryngitis or something like that.. :((

If you don't listen to the final verse it isn't bad at all. She sang the first and third verse in the original key. Normally she sings it lower, and sounds very hoarse. Its that final verse, she just can't do it, you can hear her voice cracking constantly.

@kevgonzal85 SEE her at Oparah singing live - I didn't know my own strength in 2009 or 2010 -she is STILL one of the greatest.. She has gone through a lot, but will come back better and stronger than ever - her voice is a gift - it will keep on giving and showing people, just wait and see....

The first half was awesome and most of the second half was good... Overall I loved it:)

Omg whitney please just stop singing that. If you die hard fans think she has her voice do a search for I wanna dance with somebody live in 2010 and compare it to the live version in 1987 you will see she cannot sing anymore. She used to be great!

She can still sing way better than I ever could. Just the fact that she is trying again, and still hit those high, high notes is wonderful. For what the woman has been through, I feel she is doing great. To come back from a drug addition is a miracle that many people never get the chance to do. I for one, am proud of her.

@itzniecy you could you sing it better is that what your saying

Proof that she was getting better by this point....she actually sang the "you". At the start of her tour she wasn't singing those.
i dont care wt people say. this is one of her best performances. her false setto is with her. she sings i wish you joy.... with croaking and lets be honest we wernt expecting a mirricle to happen just for the one performance but hey I think it did and thats just my opinion!!! the and IIIIIIIIII was the best she's done in years!!!!! the only problem was the rasp for approximately 5 seconds!!!! tiss alll lol and im so glad everyone who was there enjoyed it!!!
