David's third wife Patti was first married to Bobby Sherman. She had 2 kids w/Bobby and 3 with David. Poor Bobby to have your wife marry your TV brother from Here Comes the Brides. He had 4 wives, Bobby only had one.

@glamourennui wow ,not seen this clip before.You know i truly believe David is a real romantic ,and falls in love easily...note he`s met then married pretty quickly after meeting each woman?

I think he honestly feels it`s the "real thing" ,and will last...but when troubles arise ,then he can be difficult to live with .,and the marriage ends.....the bottle had alot to blame ,alongwith his quick temper...

Like so many artistes ,this seems the "norm"?

This is very interesting. Thank you for sharing this! What a rare, personal glimpse into a public figure's thoughts and life.

Bonhoeffer is some pretty deep stuff. It's interesting how deep this man's thoughts are, too--that he's really given a lot of thought to spiritual things.

It is sad to realize his marriage did not work out.

His prayer at the end if from Mark 9:24, and has been prayer probably by generations of people, and more to come. :)

I wish things had stayed positive and strong for him, he seems a truly honest man. The problem is he is human with human frailties, but at least he had his faith to sustain him, I hope he still has. it's strange but sometimes when your faith is strongest something comes along to challenge it and you begin to feel worthless, and then a blessing comes along and you realise that even if you've messed up you're not really alone. I hope he has that comfort too. Thank you for posting the video.xxx

I have the full interview and I find it quite disturbing to watch. In hindsite we all know it didn't work out with Patti, and yet he seemed so hopeful. Dillusional maybe????

I'm from Germany and love this guy since childhood." Starsky and Hutch" was very sucessfull here, too. This time the repeading are aired on two channels. Hmmm, but we never saw Interviews like this on TV.

But I didn't understand Davids last sentens because the sound quality of my PC isn't so good.
