The band were never very successful in the USA, but were massive in England, Japan, Europe etc. Marc Bolan's songs have been covered by David Bowie, Guns n Roses, Placebo, Morrissey, Def Leppard, and Elton John, to name but a few!!

@thekingblaa I think YOU need to check your facts! "Get it on" was T-Rex's only top 40 hit! I looked in the Billboard Hot 100 1955-88 to find out! Hows that for shooting my mouth off?

@Joejam2845 FWIW the song is called Get It On. T. Rex were one of the most successful Glam Rock bands with several top three hits. So check your facts before shooting your mounth off. T. Rex rock! One of the best. R.I.P.
