Yeah, you don't need combos and shit. It really is kinda like chess, if you watch the eco finals Daigo nearly lost to Jwong over one move, Boxers c.rh. No big long combos, no flashy shit, crouching roundhouse.

True that brotha! Street Fighter 4 IS not about flashy combos, it IS about basic gameplay. Everyone knows that SF4 is like Chess :P the flasiest combo won't win but rather the person who reads his opponent and sticks with a solid mix up:P Right?

While Gooteks Rog probably is pretty basic, look at what a basic Rog did to Daigo at evo29K. Hell, Daigos Ryu is so basic he barely uses ex moves. Basic gameplay isn't a bad thing, you don't have to throw out a million combos and shit like that to be a good player.
