PBY has a pitch control(also feathering) but no reverse.
By the way , early 2012 she will be flying again at the Lelystad/ Ijssemeer Holland

@nickolastd21 I dont think the planes in that day and age had pitch rotation. I know late in the war, WWII, that some experimental aircraft had that but i dont think the PBY did.

you dont cut the power straight away as you need the power to reverse pitch on the props to slow the palne

Who cares, these guys devote so much time and money to keep the "Karel Doorman" airworthy! Be thankful we can still watch her fly!

the pilot takes for ever to cut the engine, US Navy USAAF US ARMY pilots are more skilled
