  • i think you better get more info on scanners and systems and modes. p25,am,fm ,wfm are all modes . p-25 is nothing more than a mode. you r programing a convetional freq with p-25 in to a trunking system.

  • If you watch the whole video, I put in a digitally modulated frequency into a P25 type system.

  • ya we figured it out...Floyd in backround..you are stoned? keep up the good work

  • Why not show how do this with the computer software, which is supposed to be like 1,000 times easier?

  • I missed that .. could you punch in the numbers again? ... haha....In all seriousness thank you again for reposting another video. I myself have a learning curve.

  • I just recently aquired the Pro-106 and I also have the 107. They really are not different and by that i mean in the area I am from they both seem to pick up the same frequencies and are both trunking capable, What exactly is the benefit of having a digital scanner? Oh, it was way easier just to buy the RadioShack Software for the Pro-107 since it automatically imports it for you and programs it.

  • how can i contact you phone or emails please help i have the new one pro 106 help me plesae

  • hi mr twister55

my name s abi i lived in sioux falls.sd

i buy pro-106 i try every thing even watching your videos i couldnt

is there is any way u can help me please....?

all i know is u r the best.........

    thnks

  • I just got one of these Radio Shack PRo-106's too, & while I'm not 'new', the user's guide is a lot more complex than the old Uniden Bearcat hand-held scanner.

There's complications as others said, that there is an issue when inputting freq numbers and the decimal point won't cooperate.

I just got a copy of the 3rd Edition of the Southern California Freq. Directory. I want to get started.

So, for the love of God, can you PLEASE take us thru this smooth & by the numbers?

    Thanks,

    Rik

  • sorry for the multipul text

  • i have this same unit......im not understanding cause you have to put at least 9 charecters in order to put add a decimal......im lost or didnt see you tyle in any #'s......please help.....ty
