  • at 4:16 the camera zooms in on a MAN WITH A BEARD is this because he the composer DAVID SHIRE, just wondering why else would the camera zoom in?

  • OMG, how i use to do that at studio 54 and it was not easy, no room on the dance floor, so sometimes I did it in the lobby with my young lady, from the outside the doors were darken but i remember the red/black carpet and it was so easy and nice and smoooth. omg, how this brings back soooooo many memories... wow, thanks for the memories.

  • Doing the robot is not dancing!

  • What a bummer I was born too late. This is unlike anything I've ever seen in my club days. People really danced with each other. How fun! :0)

  • This really makes me cry,.....beautiful song

  • Going to a disco... the women were not wearing thongs, mini skirts, or sporting bulging fake tits. They were attractive, glamourous, elegant, and most of, they were classy and mature. You could go out dancing for the sake of dancing and it wasn't a sex parade. These were tremendous times and I think back on them every day. This dancing really took effort. Unlike today where it's all about grind up on someones shit like your having sex, acting like a pig. We were so cool in those days.

  • NEVER ever Pop music was more elegant, sophisticated and classy than DISCO music. Great music, stylish moves, nice fashion and above all this: ATTITUDE!

I miss so much late 70's music. What a Wonderful time to be a Kid !

  • This was def from the Saturday Night Fever Premiere Party

  • I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!

  • I fell in love with all the songs on the entire Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. However, this song was my favorite. I love looking at this old disco clip and boy does it bring back memories of that time. I was in high school when disco was at its peak. And when I went out dancing (circa 77/78) I remember having the look some of the girls (and guys) have in the video which was achieved by tucking your pants in your boots. ;-)

  • Fantastic makes me want to funk on down, long live the 70's, great music and the clothes OMG now that was fashion

  • Holy Shit! I had this on VHS tape !!! Peruvian TV show remembering the fab 70´s !

This chapter was dedicated to Disco Music. This moment was simply MAGIC, all dance contest winners dancing to Manhattan Skyline! PRICELESS.

I was a kid in the late 70´s but somehow the music and style got stuck in my mind forever. Late 70´s what a great time to be a kid!

  • laverne and shirley (penny marshal/cindy williams) doing the introduction..true time piece! ahh, the good ol days..class and glamour like this is all but dead in today's world. a sad shame.

  • Awesome video. I love how at 1:40 the cheering crowd gets louder and more excited. I absolutely love this song, very upbeat and cheerful.
