  • This was a wonderful film that is more timely now than in 1976. I appreciated A.O. Scott's insights. To me, the film serves as a companion piece to two invaluable books: AMUSING OURSELVES TO DEATH by Neil Postman and FOUR ARGUMENTS FOR THE ELIMINATION OF TELEVISION by Jerry Mander.
