The Mayor talks about the Open London scheme which aims to increase public access to toilets in the capital. High street giants Tesco, John Lewis, Sainsbury's, Borders and Marks and Spencer have become the first companies to sign up. http://www.london.gov.uk/mayor/priorities/open-london/
The increasing lack of public toilets is caused by transport providers and local authorities refusing to fund them because they do not make a financial profit.
Lack of toilets leads to making our streets unhygienic and the spread of diseases that affects all people in London.
When these stores close, their toilets also close.
There are only 2 accessible public toilets in the entire West End region of London. Shame on you.
We need more 24 hour public toilets in London.
