Cool now I know what to do with all those cds that I was going to trash ^^. This is pretty cool!
-
while you engrave the cd, do you move your hand from outer to inner groove or the needle simply guide your arm?
-
I would like to purchase multiple cd records and I'd like to ask what length and speeds do your cd records come in?
-
Can you create lock grooves?

Is the CD still playable in a CD player after engraving? it would be pretty cool to have like a hybrid CD/Vinyl. and does the material of the CD affect the wear of the stylus in any way?

@chococheese88 yes, as long as you dont record over the data portion of the disk, it will play. to do that tho, you cant burn more than a song or two, or you wont have as much room for the engraving. I haven't had any wear happen on my record player. I would say cd's are needle friendly.
