2007 BC fails endangered species TV news story

This is a short 2007 TV news story about how the Wilderness Committee obtained documents showing how the government of BC is deliberately failing to identify the critical habitat of endangered species so that the province will not have to protect that habitat. This shows how the federal government of Canada needs to step up and toughen up and enforce its Species at Risk Act (SARA) and why the province of BC needs its own tough stand alone endangered species law if species are not to go extinct because of poorly planned industrial development.
